InboxCNX API
The InboxCNX API connects your users’ mailboxes and gives your backend their mail as structured data: messages, threads, attachments and webhooks for every change.
Base URL
Section titled “Base URL”https://api.inboxcnx.comEvery endpoint lives under /v1. Requests and responses are JSON.
Authentication
Section titled “Authentication”Send a credential as a bearer token:
Authorization: Bearer icnx_…An application API key (icnx_…) is created in the InboxCNX dashboard and carries the scopes it may use. Keep it on your server. To read one end user’s mailbox, exchange it for a short-lived grant token (icnxg_…) with POST /v1/grants/{id}/token. You need an API key to make any call.
A first request
Section titled “A first request”List the newest stored messages:
curl https://api.inboxcnx.com/v1/messages?limit=10 \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $INBOXCNX_API_KEY"The key needs the read:messages scope. Every error response has the shape { "error": { "code": "…", "message": "…" } }.
Reference
Section titled “Reference”- API reference: every endpoint and webhook event with parameters, schemas and examples.
- OpenAPI spec (JSON): the same reference as one machine-readable file.
